HUD has announced plans to allow lenders to advance

the $8,000.00 tax credit for first time homebuyers to use upfront

for your down payment. However, since the tax credit must be

used before November 30, 2009, I do not see HUD being able

to formulate a program that fast!  This is for FHA loans only.

Otherwise, you will just have to wait until next April to receive

the $8,000.00 on your tax refund check.
